Scaling up institutional-grade commercial property investments
Innovestor is more than a traditional venture capital investor. In addition to our role as an early-stage VC, we also operate as a co-investment syndicator and growth program builder.
By creating an ecosystem of entrepreneurs, investors and partners, our aim is to be the best place for future Nordic success stories. We do it by funding and developing growth companies, and at accelerating pace, also commercial real estate projects.
We expanded our co-investment model in 2018 to include commercial properties, which we offer investors alongside our growth companies. In a short time frame, and due to our transparent and unique approach, we have managed to execute our strategy of significantly scaling up property operations.
Why commercial properties?
Investors are a key element of making our ecosystem work, and we look to provide attractive investment opportunities for our 400+ co-investors. Generally, institutional-grade commercial real estate is an asset class that generates predictable income and appreciates in value with lower correlation to for example the stock market. Offering our customers the opportunity to co-invest with us into carefully selected commercial properties has been an appreciated addition.
Today our properties operations comprise over 20 assets and 60 million euros in total capital committed. Most recently, we finalized the acquisition of retail and mix-use properties in Turku, Hämeenlinna and Järvenpää. We remain ambitious and our goal is to significantly increase this amount within the coming months and years.
