Innovestor participated as official partner in Skolkovo Startup Village 6-7 June in Moscow. Startup Village is the largest conference in Russia & CIS countries for technology entrepreneurs and investors with 20,000 visitors from 60 countries.
The theme for this year’s conference was “Highway to Money, Tech and Skills”. In particular, startups from all major fields of deep tech were on display at the event, incl. Artificial Intelligence, Internet-of-Things, Virtual/Augmented Reality and Frontier Hardware (Robotics, Drones, 3D printing). Innovestor hosted guests at an own Innovestor Lounge, where delegates from Finland and friends from Russia met and exchanged insightful thoughts in a relaxed atmosphere.
During Startup Village, Innovestor also launched a funding round in Navigine. The company focused on developing precise indoor positioning, navigation and tracking system, which are used e.g. in shopping malls, train stations and airports. Navigine is the leading player on the Russian market, and has a growing international customer base.
