Changes to Innovestor’s Top Management

Our founder Tommi Äijälä has taken the reins as Managing Partner of our venture capital investment arm, Innovestor Ventures but will continue to lead our overall group operations as Innovestor’s chairman of the board.  

He will focus on kick starting our newest Industrial Technology Fund which was announced at the end of February. Following Tommi’s new role, Innovestor Ventures previous Managing Partner Petri Laine will continue as a Partner.

Growth requires change and so I am looking forward to this new chapter where I will concentrate on building Innovestor Ventures into one of the most respected fund managers in Europe and supporting Innovestor’s other businesses in their growth initiatives”, says Tommi.  

 

Additionally, Wilhelm Lindholm who previously served as our Chief Investment Officer, has been appointed as the Managing Partner of our investment services business line. Wilhelm has been part of building Innovestor since the beginning and will continue in his role as responsible for early-stage VC investments from Innovestor Growth Fund II.
